An officer from the Brussels-West police zone was injured during the pursuit of a group of armed individuals who had attacked a squat in the rue de Liverpool, around midnight on the night of Monday to Tuesday in Molenbeek.
The police had been called after the group entered the squat. Individuals, about forty according to The newspapaerfled when officers arrived.
During the pursuit, one of the agents found himself isolated from his colleagues, place Lemmens. He was hit in the head with a cobblestone, according to local police. He was hospitalized but has since been able to return home, and finds himself incapacitated for an indefinite period.
