The Brussels resident already has an agreement to join Antwerp and grow the reigning champion’s academy. He was to join number 1 at the end of the current season. The RSCA, however, wanted to reach a solution before January 1, 2024 but without being able to find a financial deal. It took three more weeks of negotiations to finalize the thing.

Kindermans will return on Monday to collect their belongings and say goodbye to their long-time club. He is now free to join Antwerp and his new challenge. The trainer Fred Delooz, a great friend of Kindermans, goes with him.

Anderlecht is in the process of implementing a completely new structure for its youth academy. Mikkel Hemmersam is the new director of the academy. Anderlecht wants to add four directors to his side. Two have already been announced: Henk Mariman is head of football and Peter Verbeke is head of recruitment. The Mauves are still looking for two profiles: an education manager and a performance manager.
