Instagram closed the account of the site Pornhub

La popular red social Instagram closed the account that had the online porn site Pornhubwithout commenting on the reasons, although it is estimated that it is part of the effort of multiple companies to cut off any type of relationship with the website accused of promoting child abuse.

Pornhub had 13.1 million followersmuch more than in his still active Twitter profile, with just over 3 million.

Quoted by Variety magazine, the National Sexual Exploitation Center commented that although he did not share pornography on Instagram, he did “directly promote” it, especially calling for creators of it.

Weeks ago, Visa and Mastercard credit cards cut payments for the company TrafficJunky, used for billing subscriptions and by Pornohub.

This decision was made after a US federal judge rejected Visa’s request to be excluded in a lawsuit for distribution of child abuse videos, for its role in facilitating the monetization via of that illegal content.
