The Down Detector website, which lists malfunction reports, notes a peak around 11:00 p.m. HB with 56,628 reports. The cartography indicates that these come from the USA, the United Kingdom or even Australia. From Belgium, nearly 7,000 reports have been issued. The company Meta, which owns Instagram but also Facebook, did not communicate about this outage or when the network should function optimally again. According to the Down Detector site, the problems are mainly seen on the Instagram application, with users unable to refresh the feed of new posts. The last failure recorded on the platform dates back to March 9 when thousands of users had noticed similar problems. (Belga)
