The processors Intel Core Ultra of the generation Meteor Lake received a new BIOS update recently. Among the new features that arrive with the update, it is worth highlighting both the efficiency and performance of the chips, which have improved during use, according to the portal Wccftech.

For those who aren’t aware, the company recently announced a new line of components focused on notebooks. Its main features include optimized use for Artificial Intelligence. Devices with these processors reached customers and users for the first reviews.

Intel processors then arrived with a pre-release BIOS version. This variant affects the overall performance of the devices. One of the reasons for this result is the inefficiency in the energy supply process. The company, therefore, is working on a solution to this situation in conjunction with its partners.

ASUS, in turn, came forward and has already released a new BIOS version for Intel Core Ultra. In this way, the processors received an increase in performance and efficiency. The version in question is 203 and after the update, the same tests were carried out to find out how the chips performed.

As this is new hardware, it is possible that Intel Core Ultra chips will still undergo new BIOS updates and optimizations. This way, it is possible for them to achieve even more improvements over time. As notebooks are sold to the majority of the public, updates should occur more frequently, starting in the first quarter of 2024.
