Ghana is preparing to conduct an intensive training course in South Africa as a prelude to the next African Cup of Nations. This will be an opportunity for the Black Stars to refine their strategy out of sight, away from the pre-competitive excitement. Announced by coach Chris Hughton, the gathering will take place on New Year’s Eve for around ten days of intensive preparation.
While the training sessions will remain behind closed doors, the public will keep an eye on the performance of the selection during the friendly match against Botswana, scheduled for January 8. Ghana, who are in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique, will begin their competitive journey against Cape Verde on January 14, already sparking high anticipations.
