While introducing this technology, the company also demonstrated charging the phone equipped with a 4420 mAh battery. This phone charged 100% in 4 minutes and few seconds.
The company has been working on this technology for 2 years to strike a balance between protection, power and size of the device.
The charger equipped with this technology will charge the phone from 0 to 26 percent within a minute and up to 50 percent in 2 minutes.
It’s called the 320 Watt Super Sonic Charge and the adapter or charger based on it will be called the Pocket Canon.
According to the company, this charger will support all currently available charging protocols including UFCS, PD and Super VOOC.
The company also introduced a voltage transformer called Airgap which will protect the battery from various issues such as circuit breakdown during charging.
According to the company, the transformer is smaller than a fingertip and will limit the voltage to 20 watts to protect the battery when needed.
This helps the 320-watt Super Sonic Charge to do its job properly.
However, the company did not clarify whether this charging technology will work on currently available smartphones or when it will be introduced for any smartphone.
