“The investigation is still in progress,” Julie Baiwy, deputy public prosecutor, announced on Monday. “Several people have been charged in this case. Indications of corruption were detected. False identity and passport documents were allegedly given in exchange for sums of money.”

According to our sources, the person responsible for this traffic requested a sum ranging from €1,000 to €10,000, up to a maximum of €20,000 to provide these papers. He risks up to 5 years in prison and a fine of €800,000.
