The Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation began checking the children’s camp after poisoning was recorded in 21 children there the day before. An analysis of the exact diagnosis and source of poisoning is carried out.
“The day before, 21 children of different age groups, who were vacationing in a children’s sanatorium and health camp, were found to have symptoms of an intestinal infection of unknown etiology in the form of nausea and diarrhea. <…> The necessary verification measures are currently being carried out, ”the official website of the RF IC reports. All the details of what happened are established.
The camp itself is located in the Pribaikalsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. Children will be treated on an outpatient basis.
In recent days, this is not the first poisoning of children in children’s camps in Russia. For example, the Investigative Committee began an investigation into the poisoning of children in a children’s camp in Chelyabinsk. August 22 there got poisoned 11 children.
