After 5 betas and a Release Candidate, Apple is rolling out the final versions of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS 16.6, watchOS 9.6 and macOS 13.5 tonight.

Remember that iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6 are most certainly the last major updates before the arrival of iOS and iPadOS 17. these final iterations lay the foundations for the iMessage Contact Key Verification function. They are intended to allow owners of Apple devices to verify that they are sending messages to the right person, and not to a malicious entity that may have intercepted a communication.
