Appearance speed options that already exist, but that Apple has deemed useful to divide into three levels. The default setting is the previous ‘Fast’ speed, ‘Slow’ feels a touch clumsier before hatching its contents, and the new ‘Fast’ mode is more jumpy than before.

This will probably be of interest to those who wanted more snappy reactions from these controls or, conversely, perhaps struggled even with the reaction speed set to “Slow”.
