iPad: Picture in Picture (PiP) mode finally available on Webex

The video conferencing application Webex Meetings now supports Picture in Picture (PiP) mode on iPad. To use it, you will need to update your apps to version 42.3.0. Cisco specifies that there is then just to leave the application during a meeting so that the PiP window appears on the home screen. You can then freely go check your emails or launch Safari without being blocked on Webex.

In October, Cisco presented a big update for Webex on iPad, the application having been popularized by the multiple confinements and the use of telework. In particular, we have seen the arrival of the Split View mode and the support for Centered Frame. The company continues to improve its app with this version 42.3.0, which also adds an option ” Optimize for my voice “. It should improve the audio experience of meetings by eliminating certain noise picked up by the microphones (background conversations, etc.).
