iPhone 14: Apple adds a startup sound

Apple’s new iPhones incorporate a new accessibility feature.

It seems that Apple has added a new accessibility feature with its new iPhone 14. iOS 16 indeed introduces the “Power On & Off Sounds” option, which allows you to add a sound for starting up and shutting down the smartphone. . Concretely, the sound will inform you that your device has started up or has just turned off.

The feature is primarily intended for the visually impaired, but not only, since it might also find use for everyone.

Small surprise, however, it seems that said function is reserved only for owners of an iPhone 14 and its different variants. Strangely enough, installing iOS 16 on his old device would not give access to the feature.

You can listen to this sound by launching the video above.
