Apple may finally implement a small design change in the 2024 iPhone 16 line after launching the 13, 14 and 15 models with the same aesthetic essence.
According to information revealed by Macrumors, the Cupertino giant has been testing three design prototypes, all of which have a change in the rear camera module.
The first model in the photo below is practically discarded, as it resembles the iPhone adopt a vertical solution similar to the iPhone 12.

Other details that need to be considered include the presence of separate volume buttons, the new action button and also a “capture” button on the variant that has black color.
This second button on the black version is being developed so that users can access the camera and take shots more quickly.
According to the leak source, everything indicates that the black device will be used as the “final design” in the iPhone 16 line by integrating the two new buttons.
As for the front, all prototypes adopt the dynamic island for the front camera and Face ID sensors.
As expected, Apple did not comment on the matter. Therefore, everything should be considered as just another market rumor.
Still, analysts say that the company wants to make this change in the camera layout in order to differentiate the iPhone 16 line from its more direct predecessors (13, 14, 15).
