Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Titans have launched a jersey kit for the inaugural IPL. The jersey was unveiled at a function at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Captain Hardik Pandya and coach Ashish Nehra were also present on the occasion. The team logo had already been released.
Hardik and Afghan spinner Rashid were included in the Gujarat team for Rs 15 crore. Shubhman Gill, who was released by Kolkata Knight Riders, has been included in the Gujarat team for Rs 8 crore. Gujarat spent Rs 6.5 crore on Shamim and Rs 10 crore on Kiwi pacer Loki Ferguson. The team also includes Rahul Thevati, Vijay Shankar, Matthew Wade and Alsari Joseph.

Meanwhile, Vikram Solanki, cricket director of the Gujarat Titans, said that Hardik Pandya could be the best captain in the IPL. Solanki said Pandya has the potential to succeed as a captain and has learned a lot from Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni.
