iQOO Prepares August 2026 Smartphone Launches With New Upgraded Processors

iQOO is preparing a series of regional refreshes and new smartphone launches for August 2026 across China and India, featuring upgraded MediaTek Dimensity processors, massive batteries reaching over 9,000mAh, and distinct regional design shifts like the Skyline Camera Module.

Smartphone lineups rarely translate cleanly across international borders, but the latest rollout from iQOO takes regional hardware bifurcation to an entirely new level. As the brand gears up its August 2026 release schedule, leaked specifications and official executive teasers reveal that devices sharing the same family name will feature radically different internal components, camera islands, and battery capacities depending on whether they land in China, Malaysia, or India.

The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra Set for August 10 in China

The high-end side of the August release calendar centers on the upcoming iQOO Neo 11 Ultra. According to an announcement posted on Weibo by iQOO Neo product manager Hui Huizi, the device is scheduled to launch in China on August 10. The announcement comes on the heels of the standard iQOO Neo 11 release from last October.

Benchmark leaks on Geekbench, under model number V2545A, point to a custom octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm process. The configuration includes four efficiency cores clocked at 2.7GHz, three performance cores at 3.5GHz, and a prime core reaching a peak clock speed of 4.21GHz. The benchmark logs further indicate the device secured 3,395 points in single-core testing and 10,312 points in multi-core testing, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and running Vivo’s OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

A Massive 9,000mAh Battery and Fast Charging Standards

Power capacity remains a standout metric for the Chinese flagship variant. The iQOO Neo 11 Ultra is expected to pack a 9,000mAh battery supported by 100W wired fast charging. Visual output will rely on a 2K resolution display.

Meanwhile, the broader Z-series ecosystem shows varying power configurations across regions. While the Chinese and Malaysian variants of the iQOO Z11 feature a massive 9,020mAh battery with 90W fast charging, leaked market data indicates the Indian variant will step down slightly to a 7,000–8,000mAh cell to accommodate a slimmer build and a curved display.

India-Bound iQOO Z11 Features a Unique Skyline Camera Module

While models launched in China and Malaysia earlier this year featured familiar square camera modules, leaked marketing images for the Indian variant show a complete design overhaul. iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya dropped countdown teasers on X with the tagline Guess the Launch Date, pointing toward an August release window.

The Indian model introduces a horizontal camera bar stretching across the upper back panel, which iQOO has dubbed the Skyline Camera Module. This visor-style arrangement houses an Aura Light ring and two rear cameras, accompanied by a sleek curved rear panel and a 3D curved display. Confirmed color options for the Indian market include blue and green.

Chipset Variations Across China, Malaysia, and India

The hardware strategy across borders highlights how iQOO tailors performance profiles for specific markets. The Chinese version runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500, while the Malaysian edition utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. For India, leaks and benchmark listings indicate the device will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, making it the first phone in India to feature this particular processor.
