Iran’s state information company IRNA reported that the date for the nation’s 14th presidential election was introduced after a gathering between the heads of the judiciary, government and legislative authorities.
Registration for presidential candidates will start on Might 30 and campaigning will run from June 12-27, in line with the report.
President Raisi was getting back from a dam inauguration ceremony on the Iran-Azerbaijan border on Sunday (19/5) when the helicopter crash occurred, in line with Iran’s state broadcaster.
