Ireland’s Minister of State for Transport and Ambassadors from Ireland to Japan visit the Nippon Express Group Building

Tokyo, March 28, 2023 (Archyde.com) /PRNewswire/ Nippon Express Holdings, Inc. welcomed Mr. Jack Chambers, Minister of State at the Department for Transport, Mr. Damien Cole, Ambassador from Ireland to Japan, and three other dignitaries from Irish authorities including IDA Ireland to the Nippon Express Group Building on 14. March.

Nippon Express Group established Nippon Express (Ireland) Ltd. as a local subsidiary in March 1992, which has built up a large number of companies over the next 30 years. This includes the forwarding of air and ocean cargo, warehousing and overseas moves. Close links were also established with Ireland.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Ireland and Japan, as well as to explain the Irish Government’s policy of attracting investment as part of the Irish Government’s tradition of traveling to partner countries to mark Ireland’s National Day, St Patrick’s Day ( 17. March). The Irish delegation at the Group’s headquarters welcomed President Mitsuru Saito and other Nippon Express Group officials, who engaged in a friendly discussion with the visitors on future further strengthening of ties with Ireland.
