Travelers between Zurich and Olten had to be patient on Wednesday evening; As the SBB writes on its disruption portal, all trains between the main station and Olten were canceled shortly after 6 p.m. The reason for this was a catenary fault at Mägenwil. On the one hand, S-Bahn and regional trains were affected, but also Interregios and ICEs. The disruption could only be remedied shortly after 9 p.m., but according to the SBB, delays and isolated train cancellations must still be expected.
A local news scout reported that the mood of many travelers at the main station was irritable. “Many just want to go home in this heat, so people are angry,” the reader told 20Minuten.
