Design
The Galaxy M53 5G is a beautiful smartphone, measuring only 7.4mm, so it is very thin and presents a sensational grip to its users. It is made of plastic, glass and has a metallic part (the power button with ID sensor). The rear cover accommodates the four main camera lenses in one piece. The brand offers three color options – Blue, Green and Brown.
There is no headphone jack and in the box the user will only have the USB cable and the travel charger.
Display
Talking about screen on Samsung smartphone is raining in the wet, isn’t it? Even an intermediate device like the Galaxy M53 5G comes equipped with a 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus FullHD and 120Hz refresh rate. Maximum quality for you to watch movies, series, enjoy beautiful images in games and, of course, absurd fluidity for day to day navigation. Note 10 for this screen.
Battery
5000mAh, the current smartphone standard. But will it be enough for a full day without danger of running out of battery? Yes, it’s enough. The M53 5G did well in the battery tests that we carried out here at Oficina da Net. One that includes social media time, casual gaming, camera use, web browsing, and a 45-minute AnTuTu stress test. In total there are 7h15 in which the M53 5G took it by letter. In addition, the device was on standby for more than 15 hours and at the end of those 22:15 there was still 11% of battery left. The Galaxy M53 5G ranked 14th in our ranking.
The 15W charger that is present in the box needs 1h52 to bring the charge from 0-100%.
Performance
A good smartphone needs a good set of hardware, right? Will the Galaxy M53 5G do the trick? It has a Mediatek Dimensity 900 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
I must point out that daily use is excellent. There are no chokes, heavy moments or crashes noticeable to the human eye. The same can be said when we start running a series of heavier games.
In the traditional Roda Liso, success of Oficina da Net, we set the games on Medium and without fuss, the Galaxy M53 5G had good numbers. Absolutely nothing that shocked our testers, but satisfying nonetheless. The device won a Roda seal for this. Therefore, if you are not a hardcore gamer and are always looking for the best performance, the M53 5G guarantees a lot of fun.
For more expressive results, you will need a more qualified smartphone and spend a lot more money too. In our Roda Liso ranking, the M53 5G is keeping company with the Galaxy M62 and also with the Realme 9 Pro Plus.

All the features that the user of a Galaxy S22 has, the owner of an M53 5G will also have, such as fun mode, professional photos and video, single take (a feature that captures video and photos at the same time, making a selection for you in seconds), night mode, super slow-mo and timelapse.
The photos from the main camera preserve colors well, but I felt that there is an appreciation of cold tones, that is, when there are blue elements in the scenery, the photos seem to be more bluish. But nothing that can’t be quickly corrected and edited on the phone itself.
Ultrawide
Ultrawide photos increase the field of view, giving the image breadth and can be used in several occasions.
Frontal camera
To counteract the huge 108MP sensor on the main one, the front camera of the M53 5G has a 32MP sensor to make as good selfies as the main sensor makes good pictures. The portrait mode here is digitally cropped and suffered a bit in areas with hair.
In general, it is a satisfactory result.
Price
If we take the launch price of the Galaxy M53 5G back in April, R$3,499, I would tell you to run away from this device. No chance of purchase under these conditions. However, currently the device has flirted with a much more attractive price – between R$ 1,500 – R$ 1,600. It reached the R$1,399 mark in November and today it costs R$1,548 – a PRICE for you to enjoy the end of the year, huh?

It is worth it?
So, my friends, putting everything we’ve described to you on the scale, on the one hand, and on the other the price currently charged by the Galaxy M53 5G, is it worth paying around R$ 1,500 for it? OK. Of course it is.
The only caveat that you may need to note is the fact that the cell phone does not have that high-end performance that many users want.
