Face-to-face exhibitions in museums are no longer enough. But where should the journey go? To the metaverse maybe? The Linz Museum Francisco Carolinum, for example, set up a virtual location on the Metaverse platform Voxels as early as 2021.
Last week, the Belvedere Research Center in Vienna held its fifth conference on how the museum could go digital. Andreas Maurer with some ideas about the future of museums.
