KINGSMAN. After two films and a spin-off currently in the cinema, can we hope to see Taron Egerton and Colin Firth in a third Kingsman? What we know about the future of the franchise.
In 2015, Kingsman: Secret Service renewed the spy film genre with a pop and quirky feature film. In the casting, the duo formed by Taron Egerton and Colin Firth appeals to critics and the public. So much so that a sequel is ordered. Kingsman: The Golden Circle is released in 2017, but opinions are divided on the quality of this sequel after the surprise caused by the first opus. This will not, however, compromise the future of “King’s Men”, since a Kingsman 3 is planned.
For now, the release date of this Kingsman 3 is not known. In an interview with Comicbook.com, the director Matthew Vaughn said that the shooting of this third part would begin “in September” 2022. This film will also mark the end of the adventures of Eggsy, played by Taron Egerton in the first two opus. In parallel with this project, a spin-off of the franchise, featuring the creation of the British spy agency, with Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton in the cast, was released in theaters on December 29, 2021.
