Ismael de Jesús López changed the anime for oil

During the pandemic, Ismael de Jesús, 20, remembers that with the free time he had he began to watch anime and that is why his drawings were in that style.

However, over time the technique changed, as he says he likes other types of faces more and to make the details more detailed. traditional costumes.

That is why, now his digital drawings are more like oil paintings and not anime, because he considers that they look better.

art makes him happy

The artist confesses that he makes his drawings because he likes them and that he didn’t show them before, but his cousin, Daniel, was the one who motivated him to do so.

Ismael does not sell his work, because he only does it when he has time, since he studies Legal and Social Sciences in San Marcos.

From paper to graphics tablet

In the beginning, Ismael drew on sheets of paper and later began to do so on the computer. He has been using a graphic tablet for more than a year.

With this he saved time, since there were faces that took weeks and now it is in hours that he manages to capture what he likes the most. What a chili!
