A source within the Ismaili club confirmed that the Spanish Juan Carlos Garrido, the former Al-Ahly coach, is one of the closest candidates to take over the team’s training in the coming period.
The source said, in Leila Koura’s statements, that there were some items that the coach did not agree to, including the dismissal in the event of losing 3 consecutive matches.
For its part, the club refused to receive the value of 6 months of Garrido’s salary as a penalty condition in the event the coach asked to leave, as the “dervishes” administration would like to obtain a larger amount.
It is worth noting that both parties are trying to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement.
