Reuters news agency reports Mr.Lloyd Austin US Secretary of Defense who returned from London, spoke to reporters upon arrival at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington on Friday (Sept. 27) local time.

“Major wars should be avoided. Diplomacy is still the best way. and the fastest way to bring displaced Israeli and Lebanese civilians home on both sides of the border,” said the secretary of defense.
