On Wednesday, the Israeli army escalated its military operations on towns in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah targeted an Israeli leadership center in the town of Aramsha in the Upper Galilee with missiles and drones, resulting in the injury of 14 soldiers.
The Israeli army said that it bombed several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, adding that it targeted the source of the rockets that bombed northern Israel.
He continued that he bombed a military building in which Hezbollah members were present in the Aita al-Shaab area in southern Lebanon, with no confirmation from the Lebanese side so far of any casualties.
For his part, Al Jazeera’s correspondent confirmed that Israeli artillery fired heavy shells towards Lebanese territory, noting that the raids targeted the vicinity of the towns of Rashaya Al-Fakhar, Yarin and Naqoura in southern Lebanon.

The correspondent also explained that the occupation bombed with incendiary bombs the vicinity of the towns of Al-Dhahira and Alma Al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
He added that 4 missiles were launched from southern Lebanon towards the Israeli site of Ramtha in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills.
For its part, the Lebanese News Agency reported that Israeli aircraft carried out 3 successive raids with a number of missiles targeting the Hamoul area in Naqoura and the towns of Tayr Harfa and Yarin in the southern Tire district.
She added that the Israeli army was using machine guns from inside the occupied Palestinian territories towards the towns of Alma Al-Shaab, Al-Dhaira and Al-Bustan in the western sector of Lebanon.
After the intensification of the Israeli bombing of southern Lebanese towns, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the Zibdin barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with Falaq missiles, confirming a direct hit.
He also said that he targeted spy equipment at the Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills.
Targeting Al-Aramsha
Earlier today, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a missile and drone attack on an Israeli command headquarters in Arab Al-Aramsha, in response to the assassination of a number of its members.
