Security forces immediately launched a search for the perpetrators of the shooting
A 40-year-old Israeli woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a terrorist attack on Monday morning on Route 60, near the city of Hebron. Magen David Adom medical and paramedic teams, along with Israeli army medical personnel, rushed to the scene to rescue the victims, both residents of the Jewish settlement of Beit Hagai.
Despite attempts at resuscitation, the woman, identified as Batsheva Nagari, mother of three, might not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. A helicopter was dispatched to evacuate the seriously injured 39-year-old man to hospital. A six-year-old girl who was also in the car is unharmed.
According to initial information, the shots were fired from a moving vehicle. The security forces immediately launched a search to find the perpetrators of the shooting. This attack comes two days following a father and son were killed in another terrorist attack in Huwara.
