Mali: Maldivian woman Fauzia Hasan, who was implicated in the ISRI espionage case and later acquitted, has died. He was 80 years old. He died while undergoing treatment in Sri Lanka due to cancer. The Maldives Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death.

Actress Fauzia was an officer of the Maldives Film Censor Board from 1998 to 2008. He has acted in about 100 films. Fauzia was born on January 8, 1942. He was educated at Mali Aminiya School and Colombo Polytechnic (Sri Lanka). He started his career as a clerk in the Maldives Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1957.
