It became known about the increase in tariffs for housing and communal services from July 1

From July 1, tariffs for housing and communal services will increase by 3.2%–6.5%. This will depend on the region. Rates will increase in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 30, 2021, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) explained.

Tariffs will increase the least in the Republic of Mari El (3.2%), Udmurtia (3.4%), the Republic of Altai (3.4%), Kamchatka Territory (3.8%).

The greatest rise in prices awaits residents of the Chechen Republic (6.5%), Tatarstan and Crimea (6.2%), Dagestan (6%)

Permissible increase is determined from the forecast of average annual price growth. The government sets cap indexes for price increases in each region: for heating, hot and cold water, sewerage, gas, electricity, and garbage disposal.

Tariffs for utilities increase once a year – on July 1. It is clarified that the rise in price cannot exceed the rate of inflation. This was told by the head of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Utilities Sergei Pakhomov.
