In Seongbukcheon Stream, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, a passerby was swept away by the overflowing river and was rescued.
In Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, the parking lot of the Jungnangcheon Stream was flooded, and the trees along a stream in Osan also had their trunks submerged in the pouring rain.
On a street in Guwol-dong, Incheon, broken branches got caught in the drain, flooding the road and bus stop, causing traffic to be paralyzed at one time.
Rain damage continued on provincial roads and highways.
The first lane of the highway near Dongtan Interchange sank and three vehicles were damaged, and on a local road in Paju, road congestion caused by flooding, and some vehicles were running in the opposite direction.
In Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, which recorded nearly 200 millimeters of precipitation, three houses were flooded and residents were evacuated.
The operation of 11 ships on 8 routes between Incheon and Baengnyeongdo has been restricted, and access to 192 trails in 7 national parks is also restricted.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters ordered special preparations for damage centered on areas vulnerable to landslides and flooded low-lying areas.
