The lawyer for the Ecuadorian national team player Byron Castillo, Andrés Holguín, confirmed that his representative will not attend the hearing before FIFA this Thursdaywhere the governing body of football sought to hear his version regarding the accusation of the Chilean Football Federation about an alleged change of nationality.
At the headquarters of the governing body of football, in Zurich (Switzerland), the federations of Chile, Peru and Ecuador will meet tomorrow to denounce Castillo’s irregular registration in the last South American Qualifiers.
Asked if Castillo will attend the hearing, Holguín told the program Area 88 of the radioactive station of Guayaquil that “Byron was summoned to a hearing and will not attend.
