The health authority indicated that people with comorbidities that generate immunosuppression should permanently wear the surgical mask, especially transplants, cancer, HIV, among others; likewise, people with respiratory conditions, unvaccinated and when visiting newborn children, older adults and people with comorbidities.

Cartagena has a balance of 12,307 doses of Sinovac vaccines that are about to expire. The biologicals have an expiration date of September 27, 2022, so Dadis urges citizens to complete the vaccination schedules.

As of September 10, 2022, Dadis reports a total of 2,000,326 vaccine doses applied against COVID-19, broken down as follows:

– Second doses applied: 669,854
– Single doses applied: 170,284
– Booster dose: 295,921
To date, the city has achieved 98% coverage of first and only doses applied, 83% in complete schemes and 44% in reinforcements.
