A comet that fell on Saturday evaporated in the direction of the sun, moments after the NASA “Soho” space observatory recorded its approach to the sun.
According to the NASA website, on August 6, the observatory recorded the fall of a comet towards the sun by the observatory, and hours after this video was taken, the comet disappeared and evaporated due to the intense heat of the sun.
The comet is a member of the “Kreutz family”, which is the fragments of a giant comet that crashed several centuries ago, and more than 85% of the comets observed by “Soho” belong to this group, and it occurs when one of them is a very bright comet, and it is possible to see this event every year or two .
