Still surviving in Windows — even with tests for specific Apple apps going on since the beginning of the year —, the iTunes today received another update on the Microsoft platform, reaching its version 12.13.1.
As almost always, the update did not bring anything new in terms of features (at least apparently), being limited to bug fixes and security improvements — which makes it, obviously, recommendable.
As the previous versions of Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Devices (this one, exclusive to Windows) are about to turn one year old, one can imagine that they are close to replacing iTunes once and for all in the operating system.
When this happens, it will be another step that Apple will take towards the complete extinction of the iTunes brand, which has been gradually eliminated from Apple platforms in recent years.
