‘Jamboree Disruption’ has gone beyond the entertainment world and reached the soccer world as well. Official supporters of FC Seoul, which use Sangam World Cup Stadium as their home stadium, expressed regret at the government’s behavior.

On the 10th, FC Seoul official supporter Su Ho-shin said on the official Instagram account, “It would have been nice if 43,000 members from 158 countries gathered and drew only good memories and dreams. We also feel very sorry when we hear the stories of the participants who prepared to do it.”

He continued, “The closing ceremony to be held tomorrow also hurt us differently.” I don’t think there are any parts there,” he wrote.

At the same time, the guardian god emphasized, “However, decisions such as returning to the past will definitely need to be addressed later.”

In addition, he said, “Just as many places have changed to your campsites, our stadium has become a performance hall.” said

Guardian God also attached an English statement.

The 2023 Saemangeum World Jamboree, which is suffering from lameness due to poor management, will end with a ‘K-Pop Super Live’ concert following the closing ceremony at Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul on the 11th.

The closing ceremony and ‘K-Pop Super Live’ concert were originally scheduled to be held on the outdoor stage in Saemangeum, Haseo-myeon, Buan-gun, Jeollabuk-do on the 6th, but the date and venue were changed to Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the 11th due to safety issues such as heat waves.

Because of this, the FA Cup semi-final match between Jeonbuk and Incheon, scheduled for the 9th, was canceled. However, due to the influence of Typhoon Kanun, the performance venue was changed once more to Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul.

In preparation for the ‘K-Pop Super Live’ concert and the closing ceremony, a stage was set up all the way to the ground, including near the Sangam World Cup Stadium goal post, and seats were set up on the ground. Lawn damage is inevitable.

In particular, the Sangam World Cup Stadium was pointed out by football stars such as Son Heung-min and Ki Sung-yong in the past for poor turf management, and a new turf has been laid with a budget of about 1 billion won.

As the condition of the grass affects not only the progress of the game but also whether or not players are injured, soccer fans were outraged.

The government also seems to have recognized the concerns of football fans. Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min said at a briefing on the 9th, “There is a possibility of damaging the stadium lawn,” but “we are looking for ways to minimize it.”
