MUSICIAN Jasmine Nadya released a new song entitled Favorite Art, a work that is a form of admiration for the figure she admires.
After the success of her debut through Butterflies, at the end of 2023, Jasmine will present her second work which was inspired by her visit to an art museum.
“Among the works of art on display, I even admired one person next to me. From here, Favorite Art was born, which tells about feelings of admiration for someone, like admiring a work of art: it cannot be held or owned, but it is enough enjoy it from afar,” said Jasmine in an official statement, Friday (26/4).
Jasmine then said that Favorite Art has an interesting story because it was originally planned to be her debut song.

However, for one reason or another, Jasmine finally decided to make this song the second song she released.
“During the journey, many changes had to be made in the song structure, arrangement and lyrics which took quite a long time so we decided to make this the second single,” said the 19 year old girl.
With the help of Sony Music and Micah Angelo as producer, Favorite Art was successfully produced and packaged in an extraordinary way.

Jasmine is grateful because the song she wrote two years ago has received a good response from her record label.
However, the demo that was produced did require a few arrangements and changes to be made with Micah Angelo.
The work on the Favorite Art song, starting from workshops, recording, mixing, mastering, until finally being released took up to 4 months.

Even though the process was quite long, the University of Indonesia student admitted that she did not face any significant obstacles.
“Perhaps, the challenge in this song is to maintain stable breathing, create good dynamics when singing it, and maintain the feeling conveyed by the lyrics,” he said.
It wasn’t easy, he said, but thanks to the help of the Sony Music team and Micah, he managed to face it all well and was ready to present the song to listeners.
With the theme of admiring from afar, which many people must have felt, he hopes that the song will get the same positive reception as his debut single, Butterflies.
“Hopefully those who listen to this song feel that this song represents what they are feeling now and is like having a friend who is also experiencing the same thing. Apart from that, I hope that the music and lyrics that I created in this second song can be enjoyed by many people and be an inspiration for anyone,” concluded Jasmine.
