Brussels – Javelin thrower Victoria Hudson was only beaten by world champion Haruka Kitaguchi at the Diamond League meeting in Brussels on Friday. The 27-year-old delivered a new season’s best performance of 64.65 m and thus also exceeded the Olympic limit for Paris 2024. Out of reach was the outstanding Kitaguchi, who threw the javelin at 67.38 m. The Japanese achieved a world record for the year.
