For the occasion, Jean-Charles Naouri left one of his lawyers, Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, to be its spokesperson following the publication of a dispatch from Agence France-Presse. AFP has, in fact, revealed that Mr. Naouri was the subject of a judicial investigation opened by the Nanterre prosecutor’s office in June for rape and domestic violence, after a complaint filed by his wife.

“Complaint for slanderous denunciation”

The case is old. It dates back more than a year and follows the filing of a first complaint by Mr.me Naouri in February 2022, dismissed on August 26 of the same year. A second complaint was filed by the wife of the CEO in October 2022, with civil action.

The couple have been separated de facto since 2019 and have been in the process of divorce since December 2021.
