Archyde: Congratulations on your growing family,Jill! It’s been an exciting few months for you since winning ‘Big Brother’ and welcoming Lio. How have you been adjusting to motherhood and now preparing for another addition?
jill Goede: thank you! Becoming a mother has been an incredible journey, and I’m loving every moment with Lio. It’s been a learning curve, of course, but Leroy and I are embracing it together. Now, with another baby on the way, we’re both thrilled and a little shocked at how fast our family is growing.
Archyde: You’ve mentioned that your second child’s arrival is earlier then expected. What was your initial reaction when you found out, and how did you share the news with lio and Leroy?
Jill Goede: (laughs) Initial reaction was definitely a mix of surprise and excitement. I mean, we were talking about having more kids someday, but not this soon! So, we did what any millennial would do – made a fun video to announce it. Leroy had the perfect reaction to our ‘newspaper’ headline, and seeing Lio’s cute little face when we told him was unforgettable.
Archyde: Navigating a close age gap between siblings can be both rewarding and challenging. What are some of your hopes and expectations for Lio and your new baby’s relationship?
Jill Goede: I really hope they’ll grow up being best friends, having that constant companion, and sharing those milestones together. of course, it won’t always be easy, but we’ll do our best to foster that bond. I can already see lio being such a protective big brother!
Archyde: You’ve touched on the challenges of having children close in age. How do you plan to tackle these and maintain your sanity while also savoring these precious moments?
jill goede: (Laughs) Well, I’m a big fan of lists and association. I’ll need all the help I can get with feeding,changing,and keeping two little ones entertained. I’m also lucky to have supportive family and friends who can lend a hand when needed. Self-care will be essential too – moms need love too!
Archyde: Looking ahead, what kind of legacy do you hope to create for your children, both as individuals and as a family unit?
Jill Goede: I want our home to be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of hugs. I hope our kids grow up knowing they’re deeply loved, supported, and free to be who they are. As a family, I want us to remember the importance of interaction, respect, and being there for each other through thick and thin.
