That himself actor Wolfgang Bahro (62) coming soon for a while from “Good times Bad Times” will be adopted was clear for some time. Because soon he can be seen in Bad Segeberg at the Karl May Games.

For a few weeks we have been seeing Wolfgang Bahro with his former GZSZ colleague Nadine Menz (33) rehearsing for his new role. On the known Karl May games in Bad Segeberg he will be seen in the play “Blood Brothers” from June 24th to September 3rd. During this time he can only be in front of the camera to a limited extent for the series.
“It certainly wasn’t that easy. Of course, I had to get the consent of our GZSZ producers and that of RTL for the relatively long break in the series,” he reveals on the festival’s website. He got the agreement on the condition that he shoots at least three days a week in the Babelsberg film studios in August.
Since GZSZ is produced about six weeks in advance, it can be assumed that Bahro will not be seen in Kolle-Kiez from the end of August for the time being. As he reveals in the official GZSZ podcast, his series character Jo Gerner will travel to South Africa during this time to visit the YvoMed headquarters. “I had suggested, however, that he go to America to visit his granddaughter Sunny at Harvard,” says Bahro. The actor confirmed on the NDR talk show in early June that it was ultimately South Africa.
GZSZ: Wolfgang Bahro spoke to Mario Adorf about his role
While Jo Gerner in “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten” has been less nasty in recent years than in the beginning, Bahro is a real villain in Bad Segeberg. “I usually turn down offers where I’m asked to play a villain or villain. Because I only play it at GZSZ,” says the actor, “but there are only two exceptions: the Karl May games in Bad Segeberg and a James Bond film.”
In “Blutsbrüder” Bahro can be seen as the gang boss “Santer” who kills Winnetou’s sister “Nscho-Tschi” (Nadine Menz). “Mario Adorf played the role in the film,” said Bahro on the NDR talk show, “who said the audience hated him afterwards because he shot Winnetou’s sister. I will probably have this fate too.”
