KOMPAS.com – Actor Johnny Depp confessed to helping his ex-wife, Amber Heardget the role of Mera in Aquaman.
This was conveyed by Johnny Depp during the trial of the defamation case against Amber Heard, Wednesday (25/5/2022), in Fairfax, Virginia.
Quoted from EW, Thursday, Johnny Depp said he had a phone call with the top brass Warner Bros to make a deal regarding the role of Amber Heard.
Depp spoke with Kevin Tsujihara, Sue Kroll, and Greg Sliverman in order to help Amber Heard land the role in Aquaman.

“I have a multi-film deal with Warner Bros., so we’re in business together, so I know these people,” Depp said in his testimony.
Depp said he was reducing Warner Bros’ concerns about Amber Heard.
As is known, before joining Aquaman, which was released in 2018, Amber Heard had problems with the law because of a series of violations.
In 2016, Heard was sued for illegally bringing his dogs on set in Australia.
Although the charges were eventually dropped, Warner Bros. was initially worried about signing Amber Heard until Depp reassured them.
After helping Amber Heard land a role in the DC film, Depp had warned Warner Bros.
