DIRECTOR Joko Anwar expressed his gratitude that his film Siksa Kubur received a positive response from the public. This was revealed by Joko Anwar on X’s social media account.
“Thank God, SIKSA KUBUR today has lots of positive reviews and a full house,” wrote Joko, Tuesday (11/4).
Based on monitoring, Joko has been seen active on social media X since Siksa Kubur premiered on the big screen this afternoon. Several times Joko was seen re-uploading comments regarding the film Siksa Kubur.
Not a few said they were amazed by Joko Anwar’s latest work, appreciation was also given to the row of actors who starred in the film, such as Reza Rahadian (Adil) to Faradina Mufti (Sita).
“@Jokoanwar with all humility, I want to say thank you very much. The last scene, I felt in a trance, like being slapped back and forth, remembering all the sins I committed. Then the question arises, will I be ready if one day (I) die,” wrote X account @Dankin500an.
Another X user admitted that he felt weak when he finished watching the film Siksa Kubur. “You’re crazy, bro @Jokoanwar! Now my body is all responsible,” wrote @Jason_Cipto.

Apart from uploading a series of comments regarding the film Siksa Kubur, on that occasion Joko also shared a number of screenshots showing that the film Siksa Kubur was selling well.
“Wait for those of you who haven’t watched it yet,” said Joko.
As is known, the film Siksa Kubur is a horror-religious genre film based on the short film entitled Grave Torture which was also directed by Joko Anwar.
