PRESIDENT Joko Widodo (Jokowi) laughed broadly when asked about the issue of him being included in the Golkar Party general chairman (caketum) candidate market.
After that, the President said that currently he was only the leader of Indonesia.
“I’m currently just the chairman of Indonesia,” said Jokowi while laughing, during a working visit to Pontianak, West Kalimantan (Kalbar), Thursday (21/3)
Meanwhile, the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, responded to the issue of President Jokowi becoming Golkar’s chairman. He questioned who was throwing this issue.
“Who said (Jokowi entered the Caketum Golkar stock exchange)?” said Airlangga at the State Palace Complex, Tuesday, March 19 2024.
It is known that apart from Jokowi, a number of internal Golkar Party cadres are predicted to lead the party. They are the Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Bambang Soesatyo who are predicted to be included in the candidate market for general chairman of Golkar.
