Prima Pramac Racing RACER Jorge Martin admitted that he was increasingly motivated to win the Portuguese GP at the Algarve International Circuit, Portimao, Sunday (24/3) after the fall of Marc Marquez and Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia.

When Marquez and Bagnaia were involved in an incident that caused both of them to fall on the 23rd lap, Martin was leading the race. He admitted to seeing the incident through the circuit screen.

After seeing his two competitors slip, the racer from Spain admitted that he was even more motivated to win the race until finally he actually completed the 25 lap race and became the fastest.

“Regarding the incident, I saw it on the screen and in that moment I thought, ‘Jorge, you have to finish 100%’. I slowed down a bit in some corners but then I told myself that I needed to win,” said Martin. reported from the official MotoGP website, Monday (25/3).

With this victory, Martin took over the top of the 2024 MotoGP standings from Bagnaia with a collection of 60 points.
