Jo Mersa was the son of the singer-songwriter Stephen Marley and brother of Mystic Marley, who also devoted himself to music. He was also a nephew of Ziggy Marley and the businessman Rohan Marley.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Jo Mersa settled in Florida, studying engineering at Miami Dade College before focusing on music. In 2014, she released her first EP, “Comfortable”generating different expectations.
