Josh Little; Irish player in T20 World XI, Gujarat’s 4.4 crore | Ireland’s Josh Little named on ICC T20 team of the year

EIreland’s left-arm pacer Josh Little has been named in the 2022 World Twenty20 XI of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The 23-year-old star made it to the World XI due to his brilliant performance in the T20 World Cup.

Josh Little is the second highest wicket-taker in Twenty20 last year. He took 39 wickets. 11 of these were in the T20 World Cup. His best performance was a four-wicket haul against New Zealand in July. When Ireland defeated England by five runs in the World Cup, it was Josh Litt who spearheaded the bowling.

Josh Little also has the achievement of being the first player from Ireland to play in the IPL. Last season, Gujarat Titans, who was the nets bowler of Chennai Super Kings, bought Little for 4.4 crore rupees this time. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants clashed in the bidding for Little.

What makes Josh Little dangerous is that he can bowl continuously at a speed of 140 kmph. The player has taken 62 wickets from 53 T20Is and 38 wickets from 25 ODIs.
