JPMorgan CEO earns $36 million after record year

JPMorgan Chase increased the remuneration of its CEO Jamie Dimon (67) to $36 million following the record profit recorded by the American bank, according to an official document.

JP Morgan reported a profit of $49.6 billion in 2023 and the stock value jumped 27%.

The bank therefore decided to reward its management. CEO Jamie Dimon received an annual salary of $1.5 million in 2023 as well as an additional $34.5 million in performance-related bonuses. This is an increase of 4.3% on the €34.5 million he earned in 2022.

Jamie Dimon has been at the helm of JPMorgan for 18 years. In 2021, the board awarded him a bonus of more than $50 million to stay on at least until 2026.
