Today, she drew attention to Judge Ghada Aoun’s initiative, which she expressed in a tweet on her Twitter account, to withdraw the complaint submitted by her against a member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, Representative Ziad Hawat, including the justifications that prompted her to retract.
Representative Hawat commented on what Judge Aoun announced, expressing his regret for what happened, and for what is happening to the judicial body as a result of Judge Aoun’s actions. He told “An-Nahar”: “How I wish you would keep the case submitted in order to see the result, knowing that the justifications for withdrawing the complaint are more terrible than the complaint itself.”
He added, “From the first moment, my demands focused on the need for a fair and free judiciary, free from convulsions and tensions, and this judge committed and continues to commit major violations that are punishable by law.”

In response to a question about the possibility of withdrawing the complaint as an initiative of goodwill by the “Free Patriotic Movement” towards the “Lebanese Forces”, Hawat considered that “if this matter is true, then this is an excuse worse than guilt, and it confirms what is certain that the claims are the untruth of the request. And they receive suggestions. to file this complaint or withdraw that.”
He reaffirmed that the violations committed were never committed in the judicial body, a group of countless violations.
And Judge Aoun tweeted in the morning, saying: “For those who wonder why I retracted the complaint submitted by me against Representative Ziad Hawat, he explained the following: I submitted this complaint above all in defense of the dignity of every judge, humiliated. But when I found that this lawsuit fuels the spirit of division between Two Lebanese parties and the strife worsened.
