Judge Shakirullah recovered after grand operation, police report – Pakistan

Peshawar: The Central Police has claimed in its report that the kidnapped Waziristan Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat was rescued after a grand operation and during which 6 terrorists were also killed.

Regarding the abduction of Judge Shakirullah, the Central Police Office said in the report that District and Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat was going to DI Khan after duty and during that time more than 20 unknown terrorists near Bhagwal stopped him and abducted him.

According to the report, search and strike operation was started after the incident and geo-tagging, geo-fencing of the suspected areas was done.

The report also includes the statement of the judge’s driver, according to which the terrorists threatened them with dire consequences if their demands were not met. According to the police report, the kidnapper’s car was recovered from the fields of Rudi village.

The police report stated that raids were conducted on several hideouts of militants in Kalachi area, 8 grand operations were also conducted in DI Khan and Tank in 30 hours.

According to the report of the Central Police, 6 terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire during the grand operation and a huge amount of weapons were recovered.

According to the report, the police and security forces also blocked roads leading to South Waziristan and Balochistan during the joint operation and a joint intelligence-based operation was conducted on the intervening night of April 28 and 29.

According to the police, the abducted Judge Shakirullah Marwat was recovered safely during the operation and the judge appreciated the efforts of the security forces and the police for the quick recovery.
