The Liverpool FC coach had already revealed in March that he would become a grandfather this summer. Now the time has come, the son of his wife Ulla has become a father. On the Club homepage the former Bundesliga coach proudly answers the question of what life as a grandfather is like: “Finally, I don’t just look like one, I’m one, so that’s cool! It’s perfect, an absolutely perfect summer.”

Klopp and his Ulla met in 2000 and after a few days they moved in together. The wedding followed in 2005 and they have been inseparable ever since. The couple has no children together, but they each brought a son into the relationship from their first marriage. In addition to Dennis, who has now become a father, Marc is also part of the family. Klopp: “A real blessing”
Klopp proudly: “We were there for about four weeks and were able to watch him grow and experience how he went through all the first phases. A real blessing. Everything is fine, mom is fine, dad is fine and the baby is fine too.”
And the Liverpool boss continued: “To be honest it’s been a long time since we were in this role. But I can tell you, it’s like riding a bike, you don’t forget it. It’s just beautiful, probably the most beautiful thing I’ve experienced in the last 30 years, to welcome such a small, wonderful person.”
Klopp welcomes new players In his job as Liverpool manager. Dominik Szoboszlai (22) comes from RB Leipzig for 70 million euros, and Alexis Mac Allister (24) comes from Brighton for 42 million euros. Klopp on the duo: “Two very good players. They’re here now and it didn’t take long to impress on the pitch.”
